There’s spicy food, and then theres spicy food! Tonight we had Som Tum from the Sacred Garden on Bank street with 12 red hot chili peppers per dish. We like our food spicy, and this was good!
Spices are an excellent way to stay warm in the winter. It’s not actually all the cold in Ottawa (yet!) … it’ll get there!! … so we’re just building up an appreciation for really spicy, make you sweat, foods!
So I’ve been lacking in my food logs, but that’s just because I don’t want Natasha to know what I eat all day! haha … especially when I dip into our supply of Nori wraps from Gopal foods – yummy! I also have a bad memory… what did I put in my green smoothie this morning?? Ok, here’s what I recollect…

Today I probably ate a bit less than usual. Tomorrow I’m at the gym, so the food intake will be a bit higher – I’ll try to log what I eat more precisely!
