We had such an upbeat and fun time with Paul Nison at our last potluck. Paul is an amazing guy with an awesome message. He’s also a great speaker – and comedian. Thanks to everyone who came out – approximately 90 people attended and the mood was incredibly positive. Paul will be returning for the SimplyRaw Festival on Sept. 6 & 7, so don’t miss this exciting FREE admission event.
We’re pleased to announce that Victoria Boutenko , author of Green For Life and Lalita, Director of the Ann Wigmore Institute (& one of my favorite teachers!); will also be joining us at this year’s festival. Our friends Matt Monarch; Angela Stokes; Dorit , Caroline Dupont; Lorenna & Shantree, Diane Langlois, Hetta and many others will be joining us as well so it will be a full line-up for 2 whole days! We’re still looking for volunteers to help with organizing the Festival, so please help support this non-profit event by getting involved!
We are now accepting pie entries for the SimplyRaw Pie Contest. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to enter a raw vegan pie – last year we had a blast together and everyone went home a winner. All entrants receive lovely gift bag full of raw goodies. Plus, the prizes themselves are really quite something. First prize is a 9-tray Excalibur Dehydrator so get those creative juices flowing and enter your pie now! To register, see http://www.simplyraw.ca/festival08/piecontest.php
